Working at CalMHIN
California has taken on behavioral health at a scale few places in the world have. That ambition only works if the systems behind it do, and too often they don't. CalMHIN is a California nonprofit built to close that gap, connecting behavioral health information across the state so counties and safety-net providers can care for Californians at their most vulnerable. We give them the tools to do it: EHR systems and expertise, revenue cycle and state reporting support, and true interoperability between the systems that need to talk to each other. The infrastructure we build shapes how care reaches communities across California.
We're here because the work matters. Behind every record and every report is a person trying to get help, and the gap between a system that works and one that doesn't is measured in real lives. That's what drives us, and it's what we look for in the people who join us.
Who we're looking for
The people who thrive here take initiative without waiting for a process to exist, ask hard questions, and are driven to deliver real solutions for our counties and for California's most vulnerable populations and communities. They roll up their sleeves and move toward answers instead of stopping at problems.
